Congratulations to Mr. Russel Silva for his recent cash at the World Series of Poker! Mr. Silva's journey began on June 28th, 2008 at Fresno's own Club One Casino, when he won a $10,000 seat in the World Series of Poker Championship event held at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.In the Main Event, Russel placed 364th in the competition and cashed out with $28,950! He expressed his enjoyment at having had the opportunity to play the WSOP and meet people from around the world, including Todd Brunson, son of poker legend Doyle Brunson.
We hope to see Russel back at Club One for the Central Valley Poker Championships next month!
